Recorded and published in 2018, "Slow Show EP" is the melancholic twin brother of "Selfie Show EP", made up of four new unreleased songs, ranging from more acoustic ballads to moments of electronic sadness.
Starting from "Shores of Barcelona" (a rewritten, far slower, version of "By the Shores of Barcelona" from Angelo's album "The Last Pacifist"), to the ambient atmospheres of "Budapest" (written during a visit at the Hungarian capital city), the EP features also two new songs in Sicilian language: "Stidda" (a slow and intimate ballad of introspection) and "Niscivi a mizzanotti", penned under a November rain in Barcelona.
In all of this, "Slow Show" (whose title was clearly inspired by the eponymous song by The National, one of Angelo's favourite bands) is a summary of the saddest, slowest music perspective of Angelo Romano which is normally just kept intertwined between his more punk-folk moments.
